Beautiful Things

The song "Beautiful Things" by Gungor is one of my favorites. I first came across this song in 2010 at my Grandmother's funeral when my cousins sang it in memory of her.  Since that time, I have only heard it randomly about three times and it always makes me cry....but it's a good thing.  This song not only makes me think of my Grandma but the simple lyrics are so powerful. The lyrics always remind me of why I am alive and that we were created to do beautiful things.

The other day I was trying to remember what this song was called or who wrote it.  Later that night, a friend posted this photo on Pinterest out of nowhere:  Thank you! It jogged my memory of what song I was trying to remember.

I do not think of that as a coincidence. I got my "Heart Taps" (that's what I call it when I think God is nudging me or trying to get my attention) that night.  I was reminded that life is good and even from the beginning, God has a plan and created us to be better than what we ever dreamed or imagined.
